Dr. Kimberly Skelding, Dr. Alice Perlowski, and Dr. C. Michael Gibson discuss challenges
facing young women interventional cardiologists and the importance of mentors at the
inaugural SCAI Women in Innovations (WIN) meeting.
WIN aims to provide educational opportunities and programs for female physicians,
encourage research on gender based questions, and foster mentorship for female
