Dr. Christopher Cates and Dr. Vijay Kunadian discuss the cardiologist's role in acute
stroke intervention at the SCAI Interventional Cardiology Fellows Course 2007 in Las
Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Cates describes the first training program that recently took place in
Atlanta, Georgia. At the program, the first intracranial simulation that cardiologists
have been involved with took place. Dr. Cates also covers how fellows can get involved
with acute stroke intervention.
